Been waiting for this particular model to go on special again. Not the cheapest historically ($51.96?), but pretty close. Let's blame inflation at all that jazz.

Would be a good addition to all the new Dell monitor purchases lately.

  • So just different design compared to other models like f100a?

    • H series height is more adjustable I think.

    • H100 extends taller (and probably shorter), F100A extends further forwards / to the sides.

And yes, pole design vs angled arms.

    • How long did yours last?

  • Anyone know what monitor arm desk that suits
LG monitor 27UL850? (It has VESA standard but generally mount won't fit in)

Hi, this was asked and answered in the thread previously know as https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/595028

I have a 27gl850 and the h80 mount works fine. Looks the same as this. Had an f80 but needed to use spacers. H80 fit straight into the recess.

I imagine the recess is the same in the 27ul850

  • anyone tried this on a huge 38in curve display? feedback? thanks

    • Based on the Amazon page, it looks like it only supports monitors between 22''- 35''.
Might be worth double checking if compatable.

22"-35" would be the rating based on the vertical clearance for rotating the monitor (to a point: if the monitor is so large that the vertical dimension exceeds the height clearance, then obviously it won't work, so there is a limit). If you're using in landscape only, then you can ignore that rating - the more important one is the weight rating. I've used a 32" monitor on an arm rated for 27" monitors, no problem (besides vertical clearance for rotation).

But the weight rating is based on a flat screen - a curved screen will have a different centre of gravity and with the added leverage will apply more torque on the monitor arm. So you have to be more careful staying away from the top end of the weight rating when using a curved monitor.

        • Thanks! That's actually really helpful info!
This is actually the first time i've brought a monitor arm so it's good to know this kind of info!

  • I forget, but the H series is good for recessed monitors right?
