White Card Course - Online (NSW)

Hey all,

Uni student here. Thinking of getting a white card whilst I still have a couple of weeks left before uni starts.

Just wanted to ask if anyone knows the cheapest RTO to offer a white card course online in NSW? I've searched but there are so many outdated websites that are extremely difficult to navigate. Apologies if this is not important enough to be posted on the main new forums but I didn't know where else to ask.

Thank you so much!

you cant do them online in NSW. it has to be in person.

    • There are multiple websites with online white card courses. I'm just asking if anyone knows the cheapest one. Rates are usually $149 for the coming days, but if there is an RTO that offers it for cheaper I will go with that :)

This was the rule however due to Covid at the start of 2020 SafeWork NSW allowed a select number of RTO's to deliver the training online.

OP you are best to use a website such as MySkills and search for the Prepare to work safely in the construction industry CPCCWHS1001 course. The average fee is around $130 but can differ slightly.

Just make sure wherever you book your training is a legitimate RTO. There are plenty of fakes out there and I've seen many people fall victim to paying a fee and doing what they think is the white card course but is nothing more than a worthless certificate of completion.

      • Awesome. Thank you so much for your help!

I had a mate with the red card who built a shed as an owner builder a few months back, the council wouldn't accept his red card and he had to pay for a white card, the provider didn't make him do the course but still paid about $150 for the white card.
