Cheap and Best Car Rental Melbourne

Hey guys,
I’m looking for a cheap car to rent for a month in Melbourne. I’m near Craigieburn but am okay to pick up from the city or around as well. Not looking for any piece of crap, but ideally a Swift or i20/30. Which sites have the best deals and offers? And how much should I be paying? TIA

Because we wouldn’t want you in just any piece of crap.

5.3 secs for 0-100….I think he needs to rewrite that or engage 2nd gear…..

      • Was curious of that myself haha

  • Car next door is great, huge variety to suit any budget from new cars to 20 year old budget motoring. Works out pretty cheap on the month when you do your comparisons.

  • I use vroomvroomvroom.com.au when I need to rent a car. Never had to rent a car for a month, but most the big chains are fairly priced for long term rentals

  • What ever you use make sure you read the fine print for any damage to car. Some of the larger rentals are sharks. Take good puctures of whole car inside and out. Look for any existing visible damage.

    Errr pick one, not both.

  • stay away with Europcar. Biggest headache ever. Went to Melbourne early this month, booked and confirmed everything in advance including child seat for 2 years old but when I picked up the car, they said no available child seat and they asked me that I can go to the nearest Kmart at airport to get one. The hassle and inconvenience is not worth it.

  • We use East Coast Car rentals who are decent but probably not the best, although probably one of the cheapest.
