Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Nano Daypack 4-Pack for $29 + Delivery (Free with $99 Spend) @ Pushys

360

Say no to temporary plastic bags with Sea to Summit nano packs.

Got this recently and highly impressed by the quality. They are almost size of a chicken egg.

Other stores are selling one pack for $29 or more so getting 4 packs is pretty good deal.

Also available in their ebay store if anyone want to use gift card or Cashback.

$12.90 delivery, except $15 to TAS, NT, WA.

I just get by with the little ones from Woolies..or the bunnings ones for heavy duty not much bigger. I clip it to my normal 30l pack (stays in side) with a little carabiner when out riding and I drop in for groceries etc that wont fit in the back pack. this would be worse I guess, Dat price !!!

Not sure about bunnings ones but these are of pretty good quality and as per the description can fit upto 20kg.

And wrt cost, this is actually pretty cheap considering paddy Pallin is selling same bag 1 pack for $50.

There is either an issue with your math skills or your reading comprehension.

As a long time fan of S2S and an owner of 2 previous versions of this bag, you will never be able to carry 20kg in this.

Once you get to around 7-8kg you have basically maxed out the straps (they will become thin, angry slivers of plastic).
And the weight distribution is impossible to manage as there is no internal structure to the bag.

These bags are intended for hikers to chuck in a hiking pack if they want to do a side trip and not carry a whole hiking pack.

They will carry a jumper, snacks, and water bottle.

I've used them many times for shopping and the sharp edges and odd shapes of groceries will kill the stitching and even the material in short order.

        • I have the similar model from osprey, great for traveling but everyday use like you mentioned on heavy items , meat packs would probably slice it.

These things are great to take as daypacks when overnight hiking. Allows you to leave the big pack at camp/by the trailside to explore a side route or summit.

    Good price too.

Cheers OP - this is the earliest I've had everyone's christmas presents sorted!

There is, of course, little point in not using plastic bags as NASA predicts that the Earth will no longer support human life within 50 to 200 years. Most probable date 2150 but these are educated guesses.

    Could even be sooner.

    • +7

Human life is not the only life that matters.

Can you point me towards where you received your NASA education to make these guesses? I was having a hard time finding any article from them expressing such doom and gloom

  • Now I have 4 of these and a Sea to summit Shopping bag and Osprey stuff tote bag. With these have been rejecting temporary carry bags from stores (even the paper bags). Links below :

Thanks for sharing op! Got a pack for myself and co

  • Not like for like, I have an older version of this bag from Decathlon, it was $6 and pretty decent, mine folds to be more like an egg then the currrent but it is cheap.

  • Shipping is expensive for a product described as so compactable and light.
