Could anyone recommend me a decent 75inch TV under $2300 ? I am currently using 7 series samsung 55inch purchased in 2012 and looking for an upgrade.
I have no idea about all the technology but really need basic features inbuilt apps and casting enabled.

If you have access to Samsung EPP and like Samsung stuff, Q60A is $1,599 or The Frame is $1,869 there. Those aren't very good TV though, X85J fits your budget (sub $2,400 I think) but if you can stretch to $2,700, the X90J is a really good buy. You can also go for Hisense U9G or TCL C825, both have been sub $2,400 as well and have really good specs on paper but largely untested.

Just got a Hisense 75 inch U8G for $2000. Ignore the morons saying it’s not the US version, it doesn’t have hdmi 2.1. If you don’t game this is perfect, brighter than you need, colours are vibrant and shadow detail is great.
As good as Samsung N85. Colour rendering is great on Cinema modes (Day & Night). Sound is average but pair I with a sonos beam and you have a sweet setup.
Only reason to upgrade from this is OLED for blacker blacks.
This is within budget ($1,995) and should be fine for you if you wanted to stick with Samsung. I had the previous model of this TV. Picture quality was fine. Apps were fast to load. Had everything from Apple TV, Amazon, Netflix, Binge, Foxtel Now etc. Has mirror casting/airplay 2 support.
