Most hungry jacks servers are smart enough just to give you the small at the cheaper price. I get the kids one maybe once a month, I always ask for a small one at the same price as a large without issues.
i am sure the pigeons would really appreciate it.
Quick google says they have changed their "penny pinchers" menu, which was the reason the small chips were $1. Now the medium chips is on the penny pinchers menu.
This raises the question…..does the medium hold the same amount of chips as two smalls?????
My money is on same as a small, but in a bigger packet
I'd guess medium = 1.5x small and large = 2x small
Small - 90g
Medium - 116g
Large - 166g
Two smalls is bigger than a large.
damn.. there's like hardly any difference. now i get all the viral videos who say the small is the same size as medium.
@Savas: Yeah it's a bit of a rort. 2 smalls for $2 used to be a good snack.
that explains why the two whopper jnr and two small chips always felt like a half decent lunch.
No. I bought the medium last week for $2 after regularly buying the small every 1-2 weeks. They had the same amount of chips as the small but they were in a cardboard box whereas the small was in a paper bag. Definitely no difference in the amount of chips!
Not really priced jacked, it's been reverted back to "normal price"
It looks like the medium chips are now on part of the "penny pinchers" instead
Come on.. Get irate, not logical!
You should be waving a fist at a cloud….
Just ill informed. Penny Pinchers menu had a shake up recently. Small chips were previously on it for $1, now back to normal price. Medium chips have now been added to it for $2
whats the issue?
are you the person who complains when coke 1.25L is $1.99 on special while a 600ml is $3.50?
The issue is I can't get chips for $1 any more.
Dont know why anyone bothers with small chips, theres only about 10 chips in it…. KFC's the worst.
$2.40 for 🍟.
Inflation isn't real the feds say.
If you want small chips for $2 buy the medium and eat less?
Jk, but this reminds me back when HJ first did $1 large frozen cokes but the medium was like $3-4. (I questioned to a parent who bought a medium one time while waiting in line)
