I haven't seen any discounts but well worth it. It is a Not For Profit, so all goes back into the business and local community. Well worth it, I have been many times after living in Ballarat for a few years.
They get millions in grants from the government year after year after year and charge such disgusting prices not only for entry but extras that it makes Disney land in any country look like a bargain.
Doubt it would even be open without government support.I guess I have another point of view as I know a number of people employed there and the work that goes into the attraction.

Every extra customer they get that they otherwise wouldn't, adds to their revenue.
Make sure to do one of the tours when you go. I did the Trapped underground tour earlier this month and it was pretty awesome. Love Sovereign Hill, nothing else like it in the country.

I think they have reduced the ticket price now to $35 without a promo code.

RACV has discounts. You can get just the benefits side of racv which is like 40 bucks a year.

My school went there, you just need to pay them thousands a year in school fees.

Went there about 9 years ago when i was a kid. Great fun and a unique experience and am pretty sure we paid RRP but i was very car sick since we’d driven all the way from Sydney to the 12 apostles and back to Geelong the day before.
