            • @harthagan: I'm noticing it more recently. $4 Whoppers come up more often

        • Just got a Bacon Deluxe for $4 again in my Shake and Win at 8am

I wouldn't recommend them for breakfast though as they microwave them and they aren't as good as later in the day

          • @SaintSteve: All burgers are slightly microwaved. Well, the base with the meat, cheese and bacon at least. The tops with salads are never microwaved. So breakfast makes no difference.

    • It was all just paddocks around here back then.

  • RIP coffee, bacon and egg muffin, and hashbrown deal for $4.95 (or whatever great deal it was).

    • +2

There's no value anywhere for breakfast these days. Can get a $2 barista made coffee at GYG but I don't fancy a taco for breakfast

      • They even stopped all-day breakfast

Seems they ain't even trying no mo

      • HJ's $3.20 for 2 x pancakes is half the price of maccas.

PS you should try those GYG breakfast tacos. Get the spicy chorizo.

        • Maccas have $1.95 raisin toast, or there hotcakes are ~$4.20 (not $6.40)
Fast food pancakes are the worst though lol

          Might try GYG :)

          • @decc0: Maccas hotcakes are definitely $6.10. At least in my postcode.

            • @inherentchoice: Holy shit that's an insane price difference between stores.

              • @decc0: Out of interest I just checked a Sydney store on Maccas app. Still $5.10 not $4.20.

        • GYG Spicy Chorizo Breakfast Burrito 🤤🤤

      • There's good value brekky on mymaccas app. I regularly get $2 sausage and egg McMuffin and $1 hash brown deals. Although it does help having several accounts!

        • +1

You're lucky, I normally either get % discounts or things like "free fries with mcclassic burger"

  • +1

I'm not sure why they even release these anymore. The penny pincher menu is so much better and these are very close to almost full price.

    • +2

I'm not sure why they even release these anymore

Well that's because it gives the illusion you're getting a discount, some don't realise the price increases. In 4 hours it's got 58 upvotes.

      • Is this grounds for a neg? I really want to neg this deal

Deals on the app are better (under vouchers)
Shake an win deals are better
        The penny punchers are better

What's left aside from paying full price?

        • Neg reasons: not cheapest available, problem with retailer or problem with product

I guess if you count inflating their prices a problem with retailer?

        • +2

Who is Penny and why isn't she hot anymore? (Just wondering why people switched from pinching Penny to punching her.)

          • @[Deactivated]: Built up COVID rage

          • @[Deactivated]: Pinching and punching her. HJs was inadvertently condoning DV?

            • -1

@inherentchoice: LOL. I clearly remember an Optus advert a few years ago. A (white - of course) girl was punching her (black - also of course because apparently no-one of the same race should marry anymore) boyfriend. I forget the accompanying text but it made it clear she was committing domestic violence. I'm pretty sure he was in a kneeling/grovelling position and her closed fist was flying toward his face. I sent an email asking if Optus only condones dv against men, or will they be releasing a second advert with the guy punching the girl? I didn't receive a reply and the ad (which was only new) quickly disappeared.

not sure if the price hike on the rebel whopper or vegan cb are worth it. Those are the only two burgers I can eat but the taste and quality are always inconsistent

I have never had Hungry Jack in AU lol

    • +5

      It only exists in AU.

      • I think it's called Burger King outside, which I had lol

        • god, I miss the Big King XXL - so much better than anything HJ offers

      • -1

I've heard Carl's Junior are similar

  • +1

The 2 Whoppers was the offer we used the most by a country mile - with this gone the attraction just isn't there.

  • +3

Nope not worth it, no longer a deal anymore.

    • -4

Let me re cap it to you and your other fellow negative votes, this is still a cheaper than RRP hence its a deal or you can move along and go and buy a big Mac.

      • +2

Nah I would never go to Maccas, it's an absolute rip off with tiny burgers!

  • Chicken royale meal for $5 is ok

Whopper meal was $6 before and that was a great deal

  • +3

    Jack shit

  • -2

    Phone is fine

Another HJ voucher period, another price jack.

2x Bacon Deluxe for $11 is not a deal! 12-18m ago was like $8. Bye Bye Hungry Jacks.

  • +2

Whilst this may be technically a deal, it's not in reality. Best thing with HJ these days is the shake n win. Create 7 or 8 burner accounts and win a free coffee each day…..then couple with the breakfast deal for a muffin and hash brown. Only then you'll be getting close to what the original price was WITH a coffee.

    • -1

But even shake n win is getting price jacked. You now have a minimum spend to claim anything 'free'.

      • How new is this minimum spend requirement? I've been using shake n win for years and as most recently as the other week and wasn't required to spend anything.

      • no, there's no minimum spend for claiming your prize at the counter, only via an app order

  • +2

Why is rebel whopper meal more expensive than real meat whopper meal?

    • +3

      To rip off vegans obviously.

  • When did they stop selling Aussie Burgers?

I had to stop at HJ's for the first time in ages (only out of desperation) while I was looking after my nieces.

Turns out they don't sell Aussie Burgers any more. Was very disappointing, I was actually looking forward to the combo of egg, bacon, beetroot & BBQ sauce.

This voucher has been removed from the Hungry Jacks website and the prices changed. I had a capture of the vouchers and the staff would not honor it. Totally crap.
