For passive speakers and/or passive or active sub.
Active speakers = passive speakers + built-in power amp
You don't need two power amps in series in an audio chain. You can use this as a pre-amp for an active subwoofer or as a power amp for a passive subwoofer (but not recommended with your studio monitors).
To improve sound quality you might want a 'dac' such as smsl sanskrit 10th mkii or topping e30 as the speakers are already driven by an internal amp and won't be able to use this. I notice fosi has a cheap dac for $80 but i don't knkw if it's any good.
$93.13 on AliExpress atm. If you choose to ship from Australia, there is 1 white and 4 black in stock.
I bought from their AliExpress store and received it in about 10 days. It will obviously be much faster through Amazon.
No longer at this price on AliExpress from what I can see…
I bought mine from Ali but Amazon delivered it locally.. not sure how that worked
$30 board in a $5 box with a $10 psu. Probably still pops and bangs. Hmm.
might want to read some reviews
some sites have already put a lot of this gear on the bench and they generally perform ok… and in fact better than a lot of western gear
$56 for this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001125891165.html?spm=a2g0s…
i bought it and it works great!
searched the model number zk-tb21 and found that fosi got one on amazon as well (rebadged?)

~$47.5 WITHOUT the power brick
What is the difference between this and the one OP posted? Why is the other one double the price?? Power supplies aren't that expensive are they??
24v at 4.5amps - not that many of those around my house. The higher powered models are using 32v.
You do need to make sure it is a clean power supply too, otherwise you might get clicks and pops.
Yes fosi is literally selling these with their name written on it for way more. Surprising how many people are buying into it
was considering getting this instead, https://www.amazon.com.au/RLBT600-RESI-LINX-Compact-Bluetoot…
anyone know whats the best way to compare them beside the rated 50W vs 100W?
After being impressed by the bt20a I upgraded to the DA2120C but while it's clearer the mids seem a bit lacking
Just received this and paired with my ifi DAC and Bryston speakers. Very good performance for a little unit. Mids are a little recessed and could be brought forward but for the price you pay it's worthwhile. Haven't tried the bluetooth - and likely won't use it.
I have active studio monitor speakers connected to my pc. Would any of these be any benefit or are they more for bookshelf speakers that are passive?
