I've been using them for years. They also run another shop for the UK called 365 Games. There is also a multi part thread about them on Whirlpool… Nothing at all wrong with them.
Thats a huge leap with little evidence. They are generally a well known and well respected company and my experiences with them have always been positive.
I think it would be more dodgy if they wern't open about the fact it's from a bundled pack.
You'd think if they were honest here, they would have also been honest when selling the bundled pack without the extra controller.

it shouldn't really matter why. probably they bought ps3 bundles in bulk and resold them? as long as they are a credible retailer, with products delivered as they were listed, who cares!

If you were to buy a bundled product, surely you must know exactly what items to expect. And if something is missing from the package then i'd go back and complain.
The controller is most likely part of the ps3 bundle where you get the console (with 1 controller in the same box), an extra controller, and 2 or 3 free games. Then they just sell all seperately. They make more money that way.
Perhaps they've replaced a few faulty console units for customers and had a few controllers left over.
Either way, OGS is reputable. I've purchased about a dozen items from them without issues and have also had my queries answered satisfactorily every time.

What a ridiculous logical leap to make the assumption that the bundles these bagged controllers were taken from were then sold as if they hadn't had the controller taken out. most likely they sold the product this came bundled with $20 cheaper and now they make a few bucks when they sell it seperately. As long as you get what you paid for everyone is happy……….

I agree with the above - OGS is probably one of my preferred retailers. No separate shipping, low prices and they list all prices in aud. The fact they made a spin off from their parent site dedicated to its Australian audience gets props from me.

Its safe but all the stuff is shipped from the UK, hence why they seem 'cheap' when in fact its just Australia in general that usually gets ripped off :P
OzGameShop is a great online store. Never had an issue with them, games can take time (it's not their fault, it's the UK mail that takes time) nearly 4 weeks but generally I get my games within 6 business days.
It's Australia Post that takes their time, not UK mail.

Their packing is bad. I ordered a number of limited edition games in cardboard cases (not your hard dvd case) and they put them all in a bubble envelope.. no box. It all came out dented and damaged. Very disappointed.
That's unfortunate, but since nearly all of the Australian online retailers I have purchased from send their items out in paper envelopes without any sort of protection at all, I'd be happy to receive my goods in a bubble envelope!
Being a UK company we certainly know it wasn't bundled with a toothbrush or bar of soap….

I've ordered a couple of 3DS games, PS3 move controller, PS3 blu-ray remote and a couple of games from Ozgameshop. All products came well packed and arrived within 5 working days of ordering. Pretty extraordinary seeing as it was ordinary air mail. It would be nice if Ozgameshop mentioned why the controllers are not in retail packaging (what happened to the consoles they split the controller from…), but if I needed one I wouldn't hesitate ordering.
It takes 5 weeks I recall order a game from them.
If you want something quick never order online.
However if you are not in a hurry its worth waiting and gave $20-$30
My last few orders have taken 4-5 days. I've ordered half a dozen Vita games and a few Xbox 360 games. Very good shop.
