I emailed TGG's Friday afternoon. Got an email a few hours later confirming stock and was told the price is $649 but I could take one for $600. Didn't have to ask for the price at all. This is cheaper than Big W/Target.

Bought it at the store. Went straight down about 5 minutes of getting the email. Ummm'ed and ahh'ed a bit but decided it was too good a price to pass up :)

did you try to bargain? they usually let you bargain a few more dollars off at good guy.

ipad does not support 4g in australia and i think this is just wifi. Normally $624 so you save $24. Still the best price.

The officially Apple doesn't have any problems; and, besides Apple's software updates can fix all perceptions of (design or hardware) problems.

They got 5 in on the day, all 5 were set aside/reserved for a government body. The lady was nice enough to give me one anyway since she emailed me/said there was one in-stock.
Big W in my town has been out of stock on this model for some time.

Matter of fact, heaps the of so-called New Ipad are being sold for 50-150 bucks less than RRP on Gumtree, which is unprecedented (or at least compared to the sales of the iPad 2 last year).
So believe it or not is your opinion. I don't trust Apple's or even Samsung's figures (more than 10 millions of the S3 have been pre-ordered),no one would prove it. Having said that, I'm a fan of Samsung.

Good Price. Based on the attached invoice I managed to get a quote from TGG's for $600 (32GB, Black).
With that quote I went to the Apple store and they matched the price. (they did not even checked stock at TGG if I had the quote).
