How good was that back in the day?

    • A printer for gameboy? Explain please?

Look it up dude, you could get a camera and a thermal printer.

        • That thing was the best.

I only had the camera which I remember picking up in my local targets bargain bin. The mini games with your face were the best to 12 year old me.

Good back to school present for my niece?

That’s a thing now? I wouldn’t do that for my own child let alone someone else’s.

      Wish unclecam was my uncle

In case anyone was wondering, it's just a Pikachu case/cover.

So you can obviously remove it and use it normally.

People buy gifts for other peoples kids going back to school? That's a thing? WTF?

I'll slide in a few energy cards, evolve it a bit, unleash the printer attack.

  • how many film sheets is included with it?

    • I don't believe any from product description.

This special Bundle includes printer and Pikachu character printer case.

They have packs of 20 for $22 atm

  • Don't forget to buy film (is it film if it's printed?) As from product description doesn't look like it comes with any.

This special Bundle includes printer and Pikachu character printer case.

Why would you buy this rather than something like a Canon Selphy for $165 that does post card sized prints (or get Officeworks to price beat for $157). https://www.amazon.com.au/Canon-Selphy-CP1300-Compact-Printe…. Selphy paper is about $41.50 for 108 sheets including ink vs over $1 per print for Instax. I wouldn't be too happy if my kid was given a gift that meant I had to spend over $1 for every tiny print.

This is portable and battery operated. Whilst the one you've linked appears superior, it lacks the novelty factor of this one.

  • You can often get a good negotiated deal at JBHiFi. If I wanted one of these I would show them the deal and see if they would go $10 or more below. They currently have it for $180.

  • Anyone know where to get cheap, compatible film for Instax? Even if it's an off brand?

  • There are some sales on paper every now and again. But price is likely to be close to $1/print.
I had the camera and this printer and output of this printer is much better than the prints from camera directly.
    I recommend this product.

Thats the challenge. Finding the film pack that costs less than $1 per print.

Maybe we can expect a deal from amazon after this.

Officeworks sells a 60-pack of film for $48

        • That's good to know. By pure accident, I was in Myer today and noticed all photographic accessories are 20% off so they are selling 60 pack also for $48.

The bad news is the sale ends today (23/01/2022).

        • Deal now in-store only - check if you have stock near you.

I got my order in prior, and have a pack for $46 click and collect from OW.

  • Mine arrived today - will leave it boxed until I get my film later this week.
