I've been on the lookout for a freestanding induction oven/stove to upgrade my old electric stove.
This model is the cheapest I could find online, Appliances Online sells the cheaper version of this particular model (only other retailer is TGG for $2000+).
I couldn't find many reviews but it seems to be much cheaper than competition, 5 year warranty deal at the moment. I also liked the triple-glazed oven and the storage drawer at the bottom. Induction electric is WAY better than radiant electric - heat is transmitted directly into the cookware using electromagnetic fields (fancy) which means much better control over temperature and responsiveness, and improved safety.
Appliances Online has famously good customer service - they've already agreed to refund the difference after I bought this for a bit more from them a day ago. It does in fact look like the price is dropping each day, but I don't know how long that will last.
Note that estimated delivery day is in March 2022. Free delivery, but not next-day, and they can also take your old oven/stove.
In ACT, installation (electrical hard-wiring) is about $200 according to one quote I got.
I've also been eyeing one off, and the only alternative I could find was the Bosch which goes for $3,411, so this is definitely waaaaay cheaper.
I'm tempted but my current ceramic electric works perfectly fine so it's hard to justify it.
