I'm thinking of getting the HP pavilion dv6-6012TU.Its on sale at both Myers and officeworks for $626.50. Is that a good deal?

    cpu is middling, intel hd video isn't good

    that $500 samsung from jb with optimus is way better

    oh and its a pavillion… they suck… i know, i have one

    • Thanks Tony…I've been looking at some of the reviews online . What came up the most is "its ok but… " :( Won't get it.
      The samsung is out of stock.

      So what do you think of the Acer Aspire 5830TG. MLN has it for $839 and there's $99 cashback from Acer. Mom's happy to chip in the extra $$$ :)

    $626 is way better than my laptop which cost $1000 1yr ago, i know it's getting better with time.
    I say it's a good laptop for student, unless you gonna play some game like MW2&3, Crisis 3, CODT2&3 ect …
