Received an email from KFC saying 'Here, have $5 off. Why? Just because!'

I got 15% off $10 "hopefully this will bring you back"
Up from 10% a few weeks ago, so hopefully we're on the right track for a decent discount soon.

  Looking back at my emails, it seems you get a decent discount ($4 or more, off a $10+ order) after 6 weeks of no orders.
