Kogan Mobile - 2 for 1 Sim Offers

I'm planning on purchasing the Kogan Mobile - 2 for 1 Sim offers (Buy one get one free) when they next become available.

To assist with planning for this move over to Kogan and arranging for temporary mobile coverage in the meantime.

Can anyone confirm if Kogan usually runs this offer any other time of the year apart from the Black Friday specials around Oct/Nov?

My understanding was that in the recent past Kogan allowed existing customers to take advantage of this offer - Is this correct?

    Looking at the Kogan Mobile deal history, it seems like they run them around EoFY sales (June), Cyber weekend (November) and Christmas/Boxing Day period (December).

    Obviously they're not obliged to run these deals at those times.

    Not sure if it suits your usage but at $35 a month, Felix is a good candidate for bridging the gap while you wait.

    Same network as Kogan, with unlimited data but capped at 20Mbps download speeds.

      Same network as Kogan IMHO is not a selling point.
      I think the Ozbargain Boost would be the best bet.

        Thanks for your responses - I've had Kogan in the past and it's worked fine for me where I live, work and holiday.

        I need to get four plans in total for family members - all currently expiring over a 4-5 month timespan.

        I like the past pricing of the buy-one-get-one-free Kogan packages has previously offered, so I just need to sync the expiry of the current four plans so that I can get them all expiring around the same time around the mid-year Eofy sales.

        That really depends on the city you're in. Here in SA the voda network is very good (I'm not talking rural here). May be different in other states.
