On an unrelated note, Im looking for a DVD (http://www.dvdwarehouse.com.au/empire-9397810235892.html) at Sydney
Anyone know the cheapest/best place to get it? Cheers thanks!
Cheapest place I could find was Fishpond, as they have free shipping.
http://www.fishpond.com.au/Movies/Empire/9397810235892i just found it at jb online for $25
dont think it gets any better than this…
Have a look at http://booko.com.au to find the cheapest prices for books or DVDs. I found your DVD for $24.98 at JB Hi-Fi (free delivery).
thats a great site, thanks!
Sweet!!! I was planning to buy some books….
Yes!
nice find! I love getting cheap books from here :)
Ah boo, I just ordered something yesterday >_<
I needed this yesterday..just bought books from amazon uk :(
Walking Dead Compendium 1 is around $47 delivered. Very nice, considering it has 48 issues in it.
The comics are awesome - I just finished issues 1-90. Anyone who even remotely likes the TV series will absolutely love the comics.
Same here, I'm up to 86. I love it!
I've got all the currently released hardcover books at home (1-7) and have just finished reading the third (issue #36). Such real characters. I'm really liking it, but I've needed to take a break from because it's so bloody depressing!
Yeah, I read them all in the space of a week, and it's left me pretty emotionally drained.
Lol did you piss someone off in another post? Or is someone just negging your posts for funsies?
Woah! Not sure. I may have made an enemy… hmm
even been negged on another thread… the plot thickens.
I may have made an enemy
i still have books i havent read from last time. =(
good to hear discounts.as always, booko.com.au is your friend.
book suppository
Paper cuts in unfortunate locations
Great minds think alike.
I still read it like that.
Thanks for this!
Discount made it the cheapest around (Uni textbook)
Shame about the 10 working day delivery
And thanks for the booko.com.au link, didn't know about thatFreaking hell!
Must have been 2 days ago I bought 3 books from here.
Damn you coupon!!Email them and ask them for a partial refund - never know.
Movies don't tell the full story, and I also don't think you've ever read a good book anyway, otherwise you'd know better
/facepalm
Trolled.
Don't feed the trolls.
This is the same guy who posted this
If I don't get a reply in one hour, I will neg your post
Book Amazon*
Thanks mate! I needed a good book website. Is this as cheap as it gets?
search booko.com.au for the book and then deduct 10% from the TBD.co.uk prices
guys remember to still check www.booko.com.au to compare prices across different sellers.
Works for preorders :D Thanks BD
nice deal thanks
Anyone know whats the difference with the book depository uk and normal site? Is one UK and one US? ANd in which case what's the diffenrence buying between the two? Both are free delivery worldwide - but why are there pricing differences between the two? Is there something I'm missing?
THe UK site is usually cheaper than the .com right?
(pricing)depends but that's what I found as well. Yes one is US and the other UK. Delivery times for the UK one is quicker in my experience. Best to check http://www.booko.com.au/ for the pricing as other places are sometimes cheaper.
i checked booko - found that sometimes abe books or something (in brackets it has book depository) is cheaper at times.
any idea whats the go with this? Why the (book depository) after abebooks in its name? the price for book depository is then more exp below it (the book: http://booko.com.au/products/9780586217832)
So consensus is UK is faster delivery time - and in terms of pricing just obviously go with booko as to the UK Or US site being cheaper?
yep..I have ordered from abebooks, who are essentially a hub for other sellers to put on their listings. Bookdepository is one of them, so don't worry about ordering from them, although again the delivery times are longer than book depository itself
I find that since book depository was took over by Amazon last year, the prices of books seem to be jacked up, sometimes even higher than amazon.
ahhh crap, and I only just ordered a bunch of books a few weeks ago from them… =P
Me too. Oh well, I just ordered some more :D
can u use coupons on pre order books?
Yes I just used the discount code on a pre-order book and it worked.
Great, just order one
is anyone still using a uk proxy/vpn to get cheaper prices? or have they stopped that working?
cheapest online books after amazon.uk stopped their free delivery deal….
