Feedback, Experience and Recommendations on Leader Computers Gaming Laptops?

Hi all,

Looking at purchasing a Leader Computers gaming laptop. Will be using it to play Skyrim, Sims, Assassin's Creed, etc. Program wise for work and my creative side, looking at using it to for mainly Sketch Up, Vectorworks and Adobe suit.

Want some feedback about Leader Computers laptops/gaming laptops in general. Are the laptops generally decent and good value and have you had good experience with them? If I need to go through warranty, are Leader Computers easy to deal with and will fix/replace?

If you have any other recommendations for gaming laptops let me know. Price isn't a huge issue and happy to wait for good prices, just want value for the money.

I also know hopefully in the next few months laptops with Intel gen 12 will start emerging. Is it best to maybe wait?

    Last Leader laptop I had was built by Clevo - a Taiwanese OEM, if you can get them to give you the Clevo model number, you may be able to find reviews etc for it.

    They are a wholesaler, and will direct you to buy from one of their resellers.

    As mentioned above Leader is a national disti and would not sell to you directly. They have been around for some time so no issues with the company and warranty. The model you are after is a rebadged Clevo NP55HJ. Clevo too had been around for decades and used to be the go-to BTO laptop supplier for boutique laptop brands all over the world.

    If you are in a hurry this is not the one for you as Leader would not have stock at least till 07/02/2022 meaning no retailer would be able to deliver before then either.

    This is the same Clevo notebook Metabox is selling as the Alpha-S. You can buy the Metabox or the Leader but you get the exact same laptop with the only difference being the logo printed on the lid.
