I’m super happy with my yamaha PAC012
Can concur. Had a Yamaha PAC112J, solid first guitar for me before I moved onto Dean guitars
Yamaha guitars rock, including acoustic.
Yeah. That too.
Don't bother.
Get an Epiphone for $199 plus shipping (about $25 to Melbourne).

This is better than Epiphone SL (i posted here before though)
Sort of related… I was so set on getting a Les Paul copy, I was going to get one online. A friend of mine told me not to, but to go to a store and try it out first. So glad I did. The size and shape didn't fit me. I ended up getting an ES-335 instead.
I remember when I tried a Les Paul for the first time ever after learning on a strat style guitar (Ibanex RX-40), I couldnt believe how heavy it was! They're beasts.
Solid mahogany
Store rep might have better luck with the effects pedal deals and other accessories. Drum stand for $16 shipped was a good deal from memory.

While I agree, this copy is nothing like a real Les Paul….in weight or sound.
Better off buying a second hand Squier or epiphone.
