  why not just buy the adaptor, they're $10 i think; after that you can use any wired earphones that you may have laying around.

      Oh, they've gone up to $15 now; typical apple. I could've sworn they were $6 on release, and then went to $10.

      No idea about 3rd party ones; i just have the one that came in the box.

          @[Deactivated]: Since they're official apple earpods; i don't see why not. But if you're just going to buy earpods you may as well get the one with the lightning adaptor
