Best Options to Send/Return a Package

Hi all, first time sending something back to Amazon's marketplace seller/Third-party for refund.
thinking of using their same satchel it came in; with a provided unpaid label.

https://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/calculate-postage-delive…

probably doing regular "Parcel Post" but there's two add-ons -
"$2.95 signature on delivery" and "extra cover for loss/damage up to $5k" (do i enter the price i bought?)
caught my eye because the latter info says

If your item is valued over $100 you should purchase Extra Cover – it provides loss or damage cover up to $5,000.Signature on Delivery is required for values over $500. If your item is lost or damaged and you haven’t purchased Extra Cover, compensation of up to $100 and a postage refund may be payable.

it's an electronic product over $500, shall i add on the insurance then?

Wondering if there any value alternatives to Australia Post.
Cheers

This won't help you but in the future If you purchase with Paypal, they offer refunded returns up to $45, 8 times a year. However, this needs to activated in advance:

  • Insurance is $10 for peace of mind I say yes.

Extra cover costs $0 for the first $100 of cover and $2.50 for each subsequent $100 of cover (above $100 included cover) up to $5000.

  • I wouldn't. It's just domestic….or local depending where you are.
