GoPro Hero 3+ Storage Capacity Question!

I know it's old tech now, but I still have my GoPro Hero 3+ and since it doesn't get masses of use anymore, I'm not looking to upgrade it.

My question is: has anyone used a 64GB card successfully in one?

The manual says 'up to 32gb' so that's what I've used all these years. But 64GB would be much better, if I can manage it.

Has anyone here done this?
