Prograde is doing 25% off on SD cards (not micro SD) at their Amazon store.
Ideal for those with late model full frames or M4/3 like Lumix G9 or Olympus E-M5 III, that have UHS-II SD slots.
The V90 SD cards are also 25% off.
Good prices for premium quality UHS-II SD cards. One of the 3 SD card brands that I would trust for my cameras (Sony, Prograde and Sandisk).

  • Good price, the V90s are cheaper than when they when I bought them on a brief discount before Christmas ($266.24 vs $283.99).

Kinda off topic but did you have any bad experiences with Samsung? I note that they are off your list lol. I've used the Samsung Micro SD EVO 256GB cards across a bunch of Sony cameras (RX100, A7C, A7III, A7IV). I find them good value and they are fast enough to record 200mbps 4k60 video on the Sony A7 IV (careful of the lower capacity cards in the same line as they are slower). Would happily recommend those.

    • Years ago yes, overheat and failures. But Evo plus 256GB microSDXC UHS-I 130MBps for $29 last few weeks, it is indeed a bargain.
My go to nowaday has always been SanDisk and ProGrade.
Panasonic bodies including G9 seems to favor the proper standard SD card rather than microSD ones as speed goes and how they response. Olympus and Sony seem to go well with any card.

      • Ah right, might just be lucky I picked Sony then lol. Been using the Samsung EVOs since 2018 without issues, in fact it is the Sandisk SD cards that have failed on me… but I'd write that off due to probably bad luck and wouldn't hesitate to buy another Sandisk card.

    • I have moved to using only UHS-II SD cards nowadays. I have not seen Samsung selling them. I have used Samsung micro UHS-I previously and they were mostly ok with cameras. However with my 360 5.6k action cam, I sometimes get error saying the Samsung SD (128gb evo select) is not fast enough and stopped recording after a minute or two, no such problem with Sandisk.
These SD cards last a long time and only a small outlay in the scheme of thing, so there is no need to compromise for a bit of saving, if you cameras support UHS-II.

  • Cheers, bought a couple. The Kingston Canvas React V90 are another great option which are actually cheaper than the discounted Prograde V90's and perform as well or better and come with a card reader.
