Need to Buy an iPhone

I need to buy a new iPhone as the existing one died. I'm thinking an 11 or 12 (not sure which).

I'm wondering how to buy one at best price and where.

Do people use gift vouchers at 5% off? Or use cashback? Or price match?

Any tips appreciated.

    Best is stacking an already reduced price with 15% off JB gift cards via Coles or Woolies.
    Cheapest price you can ever get

      But not easy as it seems, you might need to go to multi stores couple times foe the entire week. And there has been issues in the past.
      If you are lazy and can’t be bothered get 7.5%-10% off jb giftcards via classified(ozbargain)

      I don’t think Woolworths has ever sold any TCN or Ultimate gift cards at a 15% discount. The highest discount I’ve seen on TCN gift cards at Woolworths is 10%.

    Does it need to be Brand New?
    You might be able to save a pretty penny getting something older and Used.

    Eg/ iPhone 11 Pro (Used $900) vs (New $1,800) iPhone 13 Pro

    If you can find a 12 Pro or Pro Max cheap you should be happy with that, it's over 12 months old now, must be someone flogging them off somewhere.

    I recently purchased Apple gift card credit on one of those bonus Fly Buys deals. If you argue you were going to buy those groceries anyway, technically it's 10% off.

      This seems like a good deal. I'm assuming you can stack as many giftcards as you like. Do apple giftcards have an expiry?

        No expiry but maximum of 8 gift cards in one transaction at Apple.

        If you want to use more than eight Apple gift cards in one online transaction at Apple, you can add some (or all) gift cards to your Apple Account Associated Balance and then use that balance in conjunction with up to 8 Apple gift cards to pay for the iPhone.

        Btw, if you want to pay for AppleCare+ with your iPhone, the easiest to do it would be to walk into a physical Apple Store with gift cards and then pay for it in the Apple Store. (You cannot use your Apple Account Associated Balance to pay for anything in a physical Apple Store.)
