    I have been using Obble for over 2 years with multiple domains and I cannot recommend their services more highly. Alex who looks after the admin and technical support is professional and 90% of the time responds to my tickets within an hour. They have latest version of cpanel and auto app install tools combined with a robust email system which allows a choice from multiple webmail clients. SSL certificates are also free and activated by a simple tool that is included. Speeds are very fast and I can confirm are hosted in Australia. Great offer IMO.

    These guys been spamming my email daily since their last deal with the free month. I cancelled and they keep saying my invoice is due.

    Lucky I used a throw away email and prepaid credit card…

      Hi,

      You shouldn't be receiving daily spam from us. Our system does send out automated emails for invoices being overdue - As often if a client forgets to pay, these reminders prevent their service being terminated.

      We send out a total of 3 unpaid invoice reminders, then they cease. From memory, it's on day 1, day 3 and day 7. You'll also get an invoice due notification in advance, when the invoice is created. I believe this is standard for most invoices online, especially web-hosting/domains.

      The last deal was a free VPS hosting, you didn't need any card details or payment methods. Nor did we automatically charge any clients that signed up, unless they wanted to continue their hosting.

      Additionally, if you open a support ticket (or PM here) we are always happy to remove any attached payment information, as well as delete client data entirely (not just email, but phone, address, etc). We're sorry that the routine emails were bothering you, if you've already had the Third Invoice Overdue notification, there shouldn't be any more - And again you can reach out to us so we can remove your customer data.

        I should add also, when signing up we have a box that you can tick for marketing emails.

        We don't send out marketing emails to anyone who hasn't ticked the box. And to be honest, we've probably sent out 1 marketing email in the last 12-18 months anyway. If you have opted-out of marketing emails, regular 'essential' emails are still sent as specified in the above comment. Just let us know if you have further questions.

          Ah, I was talking about the overdue payment reminders.

          Without seeing your account, just the screenshots, I'm guessing if you attached a pre-paid card then our system has automatically kept trying to charge the card daily for an unpaid invoice.

          If you PM me your account name I can remove the card (even if it's pre-paid) and delete your data. It also shouldn't have been trying to charge daily, so I've just adjusted the billing to attempt first capture, retry in a week, then cease. So these daily emails don't happen to anyone else (For when we do freebies in the future).

      Hi,

      Sure can, free migration for annual plans.

      Correct you can put multiple sites onto a premium plan. Just be mindful if you have for eg 30 Addon domains on one cpanel account, things can slow down.

      Depending on the plan you’ll get 2/4/6gb memory and 100/200/300% cpu. Plus higher storage allocation. Let us know if you have any other questions

    • What kind of storage are you needing? Unfortunately you're right, when we first released VPS hosting they were all HDD.

      Not much demand, definitely cheaper. But we moved them all to SSD and gave free upgrades to those on HDD, so we don't have any HDD nodes running at this stage :(

  • How would one of these plans go if used primarily for email? With the free tier of G Workspace shutting down, would this be a reasonable alternative?

    I don't use Google Apps apart from Gmail with a custom domain for myself and family members, so can't justify the high cost of the new Google plans at $8.40/month per user. I realise that the Starter Obble account is only 5GB, but that should be enough and hopefully the % discount will stick if we need to upgrade to Intermediate later?

      These plans would be suitable for email certainly. Quite a bit cheaper, and yes the discount will apply for any upgrades into the future. We’re pretty flexible usually.

      Many of our customers just use the web hosting for emails (with no web content). Let me know if you have any questions though either here or open a ticket at our site.

      We only have email support at this stage to keep our prices as affordable as possible. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to provide 24/7 (or even 9-5, 7 days) phone support on top of email support, while keeping pricing as low as $27.50/year (for discounted HDD plans).
