NB: This is listed at $82.86 on the provided link, but is advertised as $40 on the banner on the home page. Might have to call Big W to get them to fix this.

  • Could put Apple/iDevice in the title. I'm looking for a new one that works with my SGS2 and found this post disappointing :(

    • yup :(

can any of you wizards recommend a fm transmitter for androids? O:

      • You can buy the one with the 3.5mm input

    hold up lol

this doesnt work for iphones i think only ipod

  • +3

I have one of these, it's an older model but it looks pretty much identical, it just doesn't have the iPod connector.

It is absolutely useless, the transmission power is incredibly weak and even in the country where there is absolutely no interfering radio signals it is barely usable. In the city it doesn't stand a chance. I got a really cheap one of DealExtreme and it works much better.

Unless someone has specific experience with this model and can say whether the transmission power has been improved I wouldn't even consider buying this, no matter how cheap.

    • yeah, i've tried this one and its so weak.
      too much static

better with the cheap ones off ebay

  • Thanks for the heads up.

  • any cheap ebay alternatives to recommend to me?

  • I bought one of these for about $25 at OfficeWorks to replace a cheap crappy ebay purchase.
To my disappointment it was just as crappy.
