No Flybuys nor PowerPass Discount Online with Bunnings?

Bunnings were advertising and promoting:

You can now use FLYBUYS at Bunnings!
And for PowerPass customers, they were saying you can get 5% discount on things!
So, SHOP ONLINE!

Yet, When you shop Online at Bunnings either through the normal customer login or via the PowerPass Portal, you don't get FlyBuys Points nor PowerPass discounts!

There is no option, no facility to put in any FlyBuys nor PowerPass numbers!

So what's the point of shopping Online with them when you get better benefits in-store?

Any ideas what gives?

    Welcome to OzWhinge.

Have you contacted Bunnings Support and asked them?

Level 8, 5 Rider Boulevard, Rhodes, NSW 2138
    (02) 9846 7100

Their website is a mess at the best of times.

You absolutely do get PowerPass pricing from the Bunnings trade portal so I'm not sure why that's not working for you. I just did a test myself - https://imgur.com/Q6AD6E7. Are you going to trade.bunnings.com.au and signing in with your PowerPass login?

You cannot combine FlyBuys with PowerPass - you have to use one or the other, and they are still working on adding FlyBuys support online. More info here - https://www.bunnings.com.au/help-support/flybuys

    • I too can confirm this. You do get powerpass discount pricing once you are logged into the portal unless it is something considered not suitable for trade use. i.e. Ozito
However you cannot stack powerpass and Flybuys, it's one or the other.

  • Is there a way for non tradies to access the powerpass discount?

Create a ABN that's all you need

      • Does the ABN need to be attached to a trade? I have an ABN for a corporate trustee. Would that work?

        • It will work but keep in mind the discounts are minuscule and the max you would get is 5% off with many items with much less or zero discounts. If you only buy few things a year not really worth it but in my case the main benefit of powerpass is as an online storage for all my invoices.

        • Does the ABN need to be attached to a trade?

          Nope.
But setting up as a trustee is a pain. They'll want a lot of info from you and all your beneficiaries.

  • It’s either one or the other you still get the discount with power pass.

  • You dont get discounts on everything . Like close outs or tools. Not sure of Flybuys?.

I guess if you are using the Powerpass app and buying you dont the ability to put in flybuys, then if you buy something on powerpass that isnt discounted you'll get nothing.

So if buying tools or clearance items, dont use powerpass (which would I guess include the app) at all, just use flybuys on it's own.

  • For powerpass, there is a separate login at Bunnings, not the usual login. The portal is different as well, but the link is there from the main website. Try trade.bunnings.com.au

Also, not all products have trade discount available.

  • I have got myself powerpass (using a family trust), and have onepass and flybuys as well.

    Flybuys doesn't work with powerpass.

Powerpass is 5% (but not on all items) so $100 spend, gets a $5 discount. I Saw something that said the the powerpass discount
    is a sliding scale -
    owerPass Essential
PowerPass Essential benefits include up to 5% off most products.* To move to the next level up, you just need to spend over $719 over two months.

    PowerPass Pro
Spend $720 to $1,599 over 2 months and receive PowerPass Pro benefits, including up to 6% off most products.*

    PowerPass Plus
Spend $1,600 to $3,199 over 2 months and receive PowerPass Plus benefits, including up to 7% off most products.*

    PowerPass Advantage
Spend $3,200 to $6,399 over 2 months and receive PowerPass Advantage benefits, including up to 8% off most products.*

    PowerPass Ultimate
Spend more than $6,400 over 2 months and receive PowerPass Ultimate benefits, including up to 9% off most products.*

Onepass on a $100 spend is Five flybuys points per dollar spent. so a $100 spend is 500 points.

2000 points can be redeemed for $10 "flybuys dollars" so the 500 points is worth about $2.50.

So, Powerpass seems like a better deal.
