I am curious too. I tend to buy whatever is on offer and the dishes come out clean regardless.
Yes these do seem to clean better for me, whereas all others seem to not have much difference, eg no difference between the basic Finish and the Finish Quantum Ultimate (not Pro). So you either go the basic Finish and save money, or go these Quantum Ultimate Pro and get a better product, not sure what the market is for the regular Quantum Ultimate.
I think results vary depending on how dirty the dishes are to begin with. I know they say not to pre rinse if using good tablets but I generally can't help myself
There is not much difference to performance from my personal experience.
I think dishwasher itself is quite important, ours has managed to clean (most of) our utensils when I forgot to add a tablet.
I use the regular Quantam powerball and that seems to work better than the plain tablets or powder. Water temperature and cycle time affects the result a lot. I mostly use a fast eco wash (25 minute, no pre rinse) and the ordinary tablet/powder doesn't seem to do so well with those settings and leaves a slight residue. So the equation is cheaper detergent but more power/water vs more expensive detergent less power/water.
I have tried these but in my machine there is no significant difference compared to the regular powerball.
Aldi logix dishwashing tablets š
Yep, especially the 100 tablet box (when they have them) for $16.
CHOICE testing gives Aldi Logix the highest cleaning score.
Finish Quantum Pro score is right behind (nearly the same) but they cost 2-3 times more.
Good to know! Iāve never used them before but get really good results with Quantum Pro even if I donāt use Rinse aid. Will check it out!
used to like Aldi Logix. but prefer Fairy Platinum now. just seems cleaner and sometimes Logix doesn't dissolve properly.
I find the Aldi logix to be the worst tablets I've used. Using fairy platinum and finish all in one, both performs better.
Have used cheapo ones and these. These seem to be the only expensive ones worth the money. A lot less pre rinsing required and very few dishes come out dirty.
Agree, I dont pre-rinse anything, which is why they're worth the money.
Until you damage your machine with all the food craps. Then you will be spending even more on a new machine.
I doubt that food scraps ādamageā your dishwasher. Whatās the worst that can happen? It may just mean you have to clean your filter more often. This comes from someone who pre-rinses everything.
Disappeared from S&S just as I click the button :(

Can someone please explain why these discounts are generally on the ālemonā scented ones and not the standard version. I canāt stand the lemon smell but they continue to discount them heavily
Because itās a lemon product and they need to clear stock.

Ultimate Pro Tablet $39.60 deal is back (was longer than one month so I created a new deal) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/685455
Curious is there a real world difference between these and the basic finish 11c ones?
