I am planning to buy some accessories on ebay given that they have protection
There is still quite a big price difference
Some are above retail $399 and some significantly below $280
Am I missing something? Is the $289 likely fake, refurbs? Older gen?
I am guessing if its not what I am expecting I can at least return it with ebay protection

I do believe there will be bargains as there are people getting these free with MBP deals and would sell the cheaper than retail but not sure by how much

Older gen pros were going for $275 through jb/officeworks for the better part of 6 months last year.
Current stock has the updated magsafe charging compatabilityalso seller 1 has <10 reviews. seller 2 has <100 reviews.
can you just be normal and just price beat the cheapest price you can convince officeworks to beat so we dont hear about how you got scammed.The point of using ebay is to get their buyer protection

The first link has 7 feedback, and just sold 25 pairs of airpods. Obvious fakes or scam.
The second link is under 100 feedback. I probably wouldn't risk it.

Or buy something like one of the Mbeat True Wireless earphone range.
I went their from Apple a couple of years ago and seriously happy.
Around $50 seems to be their sweet spot.
