  • Don't these all come out of the same factory in China anyway?

Same factory doesn't matter. They can manufacture to different specs for different customers.

How powerful is the motor? Thats where you can differentiate between massage guns.

But having a cursory glance at it, it does seem fairly generic with a standard generic (not powerful) motor.

I am aware there are different specs. My point is it's meaningless what branding is on these things or whether it's sold by some "famous physical therapists".

      • It's part of their slogan/jingle which is tongue-in-cheek so it's kinda an in joke. But yeah, you wouldn't know just reading it.

  • thanks got 2. hit that muscle from both directions at once. or one muscle twice at once. boom

Having white blokes names as branding and as models helps heaps for marketing. Specs and price are not competitive but many will buy because of the marketing.

I think it has more to do with the long-term credibility that these guys have vs other products: For example, when you were telling us you'd downgrade the quality of parts in your own product and weasel out of quality concerns by claiming you never made mention that a particular part in the original batch would be used in subsequent batches… so can't be held to account for it.

The failure of your own brand is maybe because your branded products were intentionally inferior and there was a struggle to build any sort of reputation.

Where as these guys have a longstanding positive reputation and credibility.

      • Lol, what makes you think it failed? That was when I worked for a big company (no longer there), way bigger than these guys and a company you've definately shopped from before. I can assure you that there share price is increasing year by year and no where near close to failing.

Thanks for taking an interest in me though!

I bought one last month and I can confirm build quality is top notch. Very quite and effective.

Damn I've been waiting since not pulling the trigger last time and gave up a couple days ago and paid $130. 😩

But i love this machine. It really is great quality and I havent been able to get it to stall (maybe I'm a wimp). I can't say the 8mm amplitude is an issue for me either.

I bought this for ~$70 (inclusive of a $30 discount). This is a great massage gun and I use it regularly for general massage. It has 5 speed settings and I don't need to go above 3 for my use. The USB-C charging port and travelling case are a great addition.

Just got a third. The two from yesterday got delivered this morning. Had bought one set for my parents but they liked it so much that they were 2 secs away from setting a roster.
Was going to try the aliexpress ones but dont really fancy the long wait. The item seemed decent from the quick test i had, though im much of a virgin in this territory.

Was tempted to get it, but did a quick search and someone already mentioned in the last post:

Camel says it was $101.99 on 22 Nov.
