Enjoyed it but ends quickly. Free with XBox Game Pass.

      that's what she said

Agree, started playing it today pretty good

    • +9

I know what your saying but that isn't free and it isn't to keep.

    • +1

      hot take

    • Worst review ever.

  • +3

    From prime gaming

  • -2

It's free from Prime gaming which also has a free trial period

    • +2

the super cheap key for the free Prime game.

It's been noted in the OP, plus people may have used up their free trial.

      • +2

Not sure why my comment was down-voted If you used up your free trial just get a new one with a different email account

  • +2

Under $1 at other key resellers

    • Where?

    • This is one of the reasons Humble Bundle died, it might be better long-term for Prime to have account claim game codes so we can continue getting big games like this.

Alternatively, being able to choose which platform like GOG/Steam/Epic/Publisher, Wouldn't mind having GOG for games I already have on Steam.

  • +2

Wasn't this like free from Amazon Prime?

    • +2

it was and still is. this is what the sellers are selling.

      • +1

May be selling from those gave away

    • +1

Yes, i voted negative to the deal since this is not the best price. My vote was revoked because my comment was downvoted !!! This game is currently free from amazon prime. You can get a free trial of Prime with a brand new email account.

  • I have a review of this title if you want to know if its worth three bucks. I think it is - even though I paid less than that for it.

    • Nice one! Can confirm I played through it on Xbox Game Pass Cloud gaming for PC on Windows 11 for anyone else interested.

  • Anything for steam?

  • +1

Got it free from Prime Gaming. Love the game, but it keeps crashing the PC. Seems a bit stable after I removed the Sound Blaster card.

    Using Windows 11

    • Could be issue with combination of EA client & Win11.

  • Thanks for sharing, bought it for my cousin (y)

    • +1

Not a valid reason to neg a good price? Still doesn't compare to free with Prime, but this way you don't have to pay the monthly Prime fee.

      • +4

It's basically pirating but paying the pirates

        • -2

I'd rather pay someone $1 for the hassle.

      • Except it's not a good price. There are plenty of other key resellers selling them cheaper if you can't get Prime for some reason. If you do go with Prime, even if you can't get the free trial, if you cancel after getting the code, and linking for the two Epic games, you only get charged 21c pro rata for the one day of Prime.

  • Keeps telling me it's OOS. Anyone with same issue?

    • Bought it half an hour ago or so but still haven't gotten the key. Maybe this is the issue? OOS?

    • It was OOS before but then came back on stock, worth refreshing every now and then to see if it comes back in.

Guys, be aware that Origin revoke keys that are discovered to have been bought when they were meant to be for the account owner on Amazon Prime. I had this happen with Star Wars Squadrons

    • your origin account was fine though? just revoked access to game? just bought this for $1.50 from elsewhere.

      • Yes, Origin account was fine, but it didn't last too long in my account after redemption. However, I had also bought Ghostrunner, which I redeemed on GOG, and that one stayed without a problem, so it's Origin.

Took me ages of inquiring on both to get any outcomes. CD Keys ended up refunding me, and I still haven't got access to Squadrons, even though the Origin rep confirmed that the key had been successfully redeemed on my account, but could not say why the game is removed.

I don't know what would happen if I had more of those types of redemptions

    • I had Ubisoft revoke a copy of AC
Rouge from Uplay that I had paid normal sale price for on one of these sites. They didn't say it wasn't paid for, they said they revoked because it was sold on a retailer not on their list.

      • Yeah, these things happen.. just saying.. when we KNOW that these games are being given away on Amazon Prime… it's pretty obvious where these super cheap deals are coming from. You'd be better off getting a prime trial and grabbing the games anyway, but this time.. it won't be revoked… if you've never had a prime account before. Then, it becomes free. I pay for Prime for many reasons… Prime video is incredible, so much good stuff on there, and the free games give even more value, and I don't have to stress about revoking keys. Sadly, I wish I did this earlier when I could have gotten squadrons. I'm a star wars fan, but I am LOVING Jedi Fallen Order. For me, prime is a no-brainer now.

  • Are cdkeys legit keys ?

Ozbargain bans any mention of piracy but allows this deal rofl

First come first serve. I realized I haven't redeemed it.

    • FYI, someone has claimed

    • +1

fwiw keys typed out like that get scraped by bots. If you're being nice it's always best to offer the key and send via direct message or change a part for example do *58Y *=2

      • really? I didn't know about that. Will ask someone to dm me next time

  • As someone whose livelihood comes from the videogame industry, I'm not a hug fan of key resellers. Having said that, this is an EA game so (profanity) em I guess

    • Does a resold key affect your profit?

      • +1

Hard to say, though I just checked G2A and my game is on there selling for $1 and I have no idea how they got the keys or are able to sell it at that price and make a profit. My only guess is that they may have been picked it out of the Humble Monthly which we were part of, though I was told that they don't hand out keys for that so who knows.

There has been issues in the past where keys have been purchased using stolen CCs and resold on those sites, and then devs have to deal with that if they're indie. I have a publisher though that handles all of that for me, and I have no desire to deal with Steam or any other marketplace backend.

Someone who pirates your game has a higher chance of buying it legitimately later on (hell, I've done this myself when I was younger and unemployed) than someone who buys a resold key.

Played on PS4 recently and love Star Wars, but long loading times when you die and the fact that you have to find your way back to your ship kill the enjoyment for me. Maybe I'm just getting old, just had a kid so I have less time to play games and these are just not enjoyable.

Maybe PC loading time is better?

    • +1

It will be if it's from an SSD.

    • +2

This resonates so much with me. Not this particular game because I haven't played it but many things that use to be fun are now an annoyance instead. E.g. I used to enjoy puzzles sprinkled into RPGs. Taking the time to think about them, explore and find the solution was satisfying. Now I just find it annoying and look up the solution on Youtube. Have 2 young kids.

  • If anyone wants a free key, PM me. Already got it on Steam but got it on Prime

  • +1

    Now $2.09

    • Thanks, updated :)

  • +2

    Now $0.99

  • +1

    Now $0.59

  • I have one from prime for quick hand.
