They have pivoted their business model a fair bit. Stocking lots of puzzles, card games & pop vinyls etc
Well who buys CDs and DVDs any more? Obviously there's a few people, but largely, everyone does streaming nowadays.
I reckon this one will be closing. I've been following the pattern, most of the stores in major shopping centres are closing, and they have a sale like this right beforehand. They're mostly moving into the smaller suburban/regional shopping centres, I guess the rent at places like Sunshine Plaza is too high for their business model.
Went Yesterday, yup the store is closing (they have signs up)
Watch out on the sale. The fine print says its 50% off the full price.Since most of their items are marked 'sale as normal' its not a good a price as you think
so 2 for $ 20 DVD's are actually 2 x $ 15 DVD's , so you only save $ 5
Still a saving is a saving, just not worth buying just coz of a good price, but if you wanted it anyways.
