Thanks, does Fuller Ray really makes a big difference in TV this size?
it is if you want good colour contrast and black blacks when watching movies. think dark scenes in movies which comes out a shimmering gray on cheaper TVs. OLED is the best for this, where as LED with FALD have dimming zones that turn off for blacks making it a more 'black' black. it may not make as big a difference if you don't want movies on it eg. daytime TV and sports
Thanks, I had a look today with the Q60 as well as the Nano86 and even the Sony. At the end of the day I dont see a major differences in picture as sure the other looks brighter and yes it look a bit more refined. However looking at the price of the other and this I just dont see paying double for them.
End up got it for $2000 with my gift card. Thanks for your input.
@Aerith-Waifu: Nice, enjoy the tv!
if you just want a large tv you can't beat it for value. if you can get it for 2.1-2.2k i'd say it's probably a better deal than the samsung Q60 as long as you don't use their software. there is no FALD though so picture quality won't be stellar. gaming you got VRR but 60hz..but anything with FALD / 120hz you are looking at at least 1k more
TLDR: if you need to stick to budget and want size > quality go for it, otherwise look elsewhere
