I know that the C920/C922 will be the go to webcams for a lot of people, purchased this based on thinking it looks better/the built-in privacy shutter.

Pulled the trigger based on the below review - I'm happy enough with the picture quality showcased in this video:

    Would go for the 925e

    925e is on UVC 1.5 (supports H.264 AVC and SVC) so less work for the CPU. Also has a built-in privacy shutter

    922 is on UVC 1.1 (supports H.264 AVC)

  Can get a privacy shutter for any laptop or webcam stuck on. Plenty available for a few $$$.
  Otherwise very similar to C922

  After watching scammer videos on Youtube, I would not use a camera unless absolutely unavoidably necessary.

    All the more reasons to get a plug in webcam where you can just completely remove it, rather than using ones integrated into your laptop/all in one/monitor.
