First post! I've seen various HEYMIX chargers pop up a bit on OzB, but not the 3-Port recently - and this seems to be a good price for it.

Supports USB PD3.0/2.0, PPS, QC3.0/2.0, AFC, FCP, SCP, 2.4A, DCP-1.5A.

Available in White and Black.

There's also an additional $5 off voucher which can be applied, as well as a 'Buy 2, Save 10%' promotion across a couple of additional HEYMIX products.

Enjoy :)

Anyone know or has bought one if these work for Samsungs Super Fast charging protocol,. for the Note 10 plus? I know Samsung uses a specialized PD type charging which is hard to find on charges other then Samsungs own chargers

    • +2

I've got the MINIX NEO P1 which is the exact same unit from aliexpress that these guys rebadge and markup and yeah it works fine with PPS/Samsung charging. Using with a s21 ultra for the past year.

MINIX NEO P1 which is the exact same unit from aliexpress that these guys rebadge

I would guess Minix also is rebadging some generic product

      • That's the one I have. It rocks. So tiny.

    • I have an older heymix 65w charger and it has pps. I also have a note 10 plus, and when using it, it says super fast charging 2, which is the full 45w, I believe.

    • +2

HEYMIX GaN Charger 65W does super fast charging for Note 10 Plus, so this should too.

    • Have one and can confirm it does on an S20.

  • looks good

I like the form factor of these more than the long slender ones they have.

Looks the same at this though which is cheaper? (Or has been)

    • I too, prefer these square chargers compared to the long rectangular ones (like Baseus and the older Heymix).

I have a Minix Neo P1 and a Zyron Powerpod and aside from colour, they are identical.

I've got the 66w version that looks identical (except for the logo) that I bought from Amazon a few months back. Mine included an approx 1.5m cable that you could plug into the wall from the charger, which was perfect for my needs. This one has lost that which is a huge bummer.

With mine, when you plug in a new cable, it stops all output for 0.5 of a sec before readjusting and starting again

    • +2

Yes they even mentioned it was a patented design as well.

But Heymix went to all shit because Amazon took the seller off just before Black Friday. Removed all their items.

  • Thanks and welcome 🤠

I wouldn’t buy this on this deal.

They previously had a higher RRP and a percentage discount that brought the price to around $45. From memory $89.99 with a 50% off coupon.

Also Anker have a 100w version coming out in March so would wait for that as that charger would cover all use cases.

    • Knowing Anker it would probably be $200

"The Anker 736 Nano II 100W charger is priced at $79 in the U.S,, 70 pounds in the U,K,, and 75 euros in Germany." - https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/anker-736-gan-charger-1…

At USD$80, expect it to be at least $120, probably $130-135 after GST.

        • That’s just the RRP.

I don’t think OzB users pay RRP? Unless it’s a frequently out of stock item.

          plus Australia tax = $200 /s

  • I have this from a previous deal, it's been great.

Mine worked two days then made a huge noise and died.

    • +9

Another COVID death to add to the statistics. Sorry for your loss. Always buy quality chargers from the original manufacturer, to avoid COVID (Charger Of Viability In Doubt) deaths in the future

Bought the HEYMIX 120W GaN Charger from a previous deal, worked okay for about a month though was a bit temperamental. Then it started making some pretty aggressive snap/crackle/pop noises, and back to Amazon it went.

This is where more bang for your buck needs to be taken less literally

    Got 2 for 83$.
    5$ coupon and 10% off.

  • I have a different branded version of this from Aliexpress and it's great would recommend.

  • Thanks OP looks like white is now OOS but got a black one.

    • Me too. Actually I got two of them, I thought I'd get 10% discount but it was actually 20%, so total for them both was $88.

  • +3

This is a pretty good charger. Only thing I would note is that as soon as you plug in a cable to any of the ports, it immediately drops the power supply to the remaining ports. It doesn't matter if you have another device drawing power or not.

  • May be a silly question but would this charge a laptop that has a thunderbolt 4 port? Specifically an Acer Nitro 5?

  • +1

    OOS now

    • +1

The white one has been OOS for a couple of hours. The black one is still available for the same price.

  • Are these any good? 100W charger for 12$
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002305340271.html?spm=a2…

    • That looks like a cable… if you click off it then back on it you will see it update.

      The item shows as:
      Plug Type: 3A 4-in-1 Cable

Wheraas the others show as something like this:
Plug Type: AU and 5A Cable

      • +1

Thank you for pointing that out!

        • If it wasn't just a cable, I'd be wary of a 100W charger that cost only $12.

  • I bought this last week on this deal to power my Chromecast with a USB C hub. Works really well so far. Stack with Amazon Gift Cards!

  • Update: white version OOS

Sorry, unable to edit the post for some reason :)

    • +1

      Black also OOS

  • It's showing up as in stock now, both white and black versions, but cost has increased to $59.99 (25% off RRP).

  • One thing I hate about these is that I have a small MacBook powered up on for my tv which has a dead battery. If you plug in anything additional, it will turn off all other ports which means my laptop powers off and on again.

  • Any discounts on the GaN Charger 1.5-Meter Extension Cord Adapter AU Plug? and the 100w GaN
