What are the cheap ways to transfer money to a German's account?
Not much of money, may be around AUD$ 100-200 per transaction to a relative living there every now and then.

depends im guess you need it translated into EUROs then you want lookup what sort of information you want to provide as different companies require level of information due to their typical transfer sizes i would go with a international transfer payment company, don't have a suggestion as each company will be different. maybe someone with some experience in usage might be willing to explain the fees involved.
I doubt paypal is a good place to start anything goes wrong and you be up **** creek. only good for payment of purchases.
I use Wise to get paid from Germany, you can probably do it the other way around. The conversion fee is surprisingly low.
