Picked one up yesterday. Not a bad TV for the price. 8k kind of redundant but the upscaling works well.
Currently priced at $3495 at other major retailers.

The U80G series fully HDMI 2.1 compliant and has 120hz refresh.
U80G (and U90G) is 8k so it has an HDMI 2.1 port. So 120Hz at 4k and 60Hz at 8k. Looking out for the 75U90G.
I'm in the same boat looking for a miniled tv. Is the 75U90G worth twice the 75U9G?
Hi OP, just wondering how long is the startup time for this TV?
I would estimate ~1 second from standby mode (semi off mode - used for google assist features)
I haven't tried it from a "true off" mode yet. I can have a play around this evening with different modes and get back to you if you like?
Anyone know which native streaming apps (Netflix, Disney, etc) on this model support dolby atmos?
any know deals on the 75" model
OP posted 75" model
Sorry… i meant the other lower cost 75" 4k etc
Certainly not a brand I would have thought Videopro would have been selling given their history of hi-end gear.
But sure, they still make a margin on every product that they sell.
It appears U7/U8 in the US has 120Hz refresh rate whilst the same models in AU don't, at least I can't find it in their home page.
What's about this U80 then?
