On sale for a low price is this 10.1" Android tablet with decent specs if you're shopping on a budget.

Features include Android 11, 10.1" 1920x1080 IPS Display, 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage (expandable via MicroSD), UNISOC Tiger 618 Octa-Core CPU, 4G LTE with Dual SIM, 7000mAh battery with USB-C, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio, GPS, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 4 stereo speakers.

There's not really any YouTube reviews on the M40 Pro, but there is on the older Teclast M40 that'll give you an idea of how it performs in gaming, like this video from ETA Prime. It's important to note the M40 is physically different, e.g. smaller battery, bigger bezels, different display and Android 10, so it's not identical to the M40 Pro.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate. Stacks with Socialgood / Cashback.

  • Title says 8GB ram, description says 6gb

    • Thanks.

Bought this for $275ish back in November 2021 for the kids to use. Beats the costs associated with ios.

Great display, high build quality, snappy as you'd expect from the GPU and obviously the ram is ideal. Delivered in approx 13 days from Hong Kong.

Runs games like Roblox, Minecraft and Among Us seamlessly. Im sure it'd be capable of more too and not limited to games.

Only con so far is the microphone. Its notoriously weak and you need to be really close to the device. Taking video calls from 5-10m away is a no go for example.

Protip: get a spare usb charger and a Teclast cover from Aliexpress for $14ish.

The one you ordered was the T40 Plus I think. It's pretty much the same except the screen is bigger at 10.4".

      Roblox, Minecraft and Among Us

      Lol what can't?

      • +1

True most can but that's because they downscale based on the device, he might have meant played at a decent resolution or frame rate.🤷🏼‍♂️

        • +1

Exactly, thanks Spendmore. When meaning 'play' I was referring to no lagging, responsiveness and the ability to switch between all 3 at the same time without a hassle.

Other devices in this price range simply couldn't handle do what the Teclast has shown, especially Roblox. Its barely usable if playing on other 'cheap and cheerful' tablets out there.

          • @rawm: Basically pieces of crap.

Those 3 games aren't demanding at all.

Try Asphalt/pubg/ark in high frame rate settings.

  • Does it come with Google play store? Thanks

    • Yes. Designed for the international market so it's Google Certified.

      • -1

        What does Google certified mean?

        • It means that the preinstalled Google services are certified by Google. Rather than having Google Play unofficially sideloaded.

Here is a fairly in-depth review of this one. Sounds okay for the price. https://techxreviews.com/teclast-m40-pro-tablet-review/

  • Does the Android pad 4G LTE cover all major telcos band here?

    • Not quite. There's no B28.

  • Does anyone know how this compares to the Alldocube iPlay 40? The iPlay seems to get good reviews & have similar specs to the M40…

    • Alldocube iPlay 40 is a better tablet. A bigger/better 10.4" 2K display, 8GB RAM and 4G B28. You'd want to get the iPlay 40H (128GB) or iPlay 40 Pro (256GB) as the original iPlay 40 is Android 10.

      • Will it still come with Google play? Thanks.

        • Yes

          • @Clear: Cool. Just checking the specifications. Looks the same except storage? Am I missing something?

  • I ordered this but it still hasn't shipped. Anyone else still waiting. The ETA is now shipping on 1 March. Sigh…
