I've read Big W cancels online orders if your nearest store is out of stock. They don't attempt to send it from a store with stock. Is anyone here familiar enough with Big W to know if this is true?

Yeah that pisses me off it says not in store but let's me order, then cancels it
I've had them ship me stuff because the local store didn't have stock
Yes they do, they cancelled my Chino order, refunded it to the original card (If payed with Everyday Rewards Dollars, they send you replacement Wish GC of that many $$ on it), and no they dont think even once before cancellation, (like getting item from different store or something, its always refund)
Same experience as thatonethere. They were out of stock at my local store so they shipped my order from another store to me.

Click and collect yes….. for delivery, no.
No they do it, if there is another delivery hub with stock they will route the order their instead.
I live in Sydney and have received split deliveries from Big W from QLD and ACT stores in the past.
Happened to me recently, very annoying
Yep, annoyed the crap out of me. I had ordered the Breville mixer at 1/2 price for delivery coz it was free. They cancelled my order the day after the promo ended, saying there was no stock.
What annoyed me further was, after I complained about it, I received an email telling me to order it as it was now in stock at full price 🤐
Happened to me recently, resulting in me missing out on a $10 cash back bonus. This was for a click and collect order which stated stock was available.
