Will both ones have easy cast function without touch any button once device opened?
I current have a android box, it needs me to open youtube before i can start cast.
I've got a Google TV, XBox One, and a Mighty Fetch (only 1 week old) on the same TV.
I use the Google TV as our main go to streaming device and you can configure it to blend in all your streaming subscriptions in the home page / landing page. I bought another for our other TV too. Family find it easy to use. I was swayed to get this due to the bonus 6 months of Netflix they throw in when you purchase it. It goes on sale every now and then, so wait for that to happen before buying.
Since getting the Mighty Fetch (for recording free view), I'm now finding I'm using this more (it has most of the bigger streaming apps included, and nice remote). I'm impressed with this device (I also have a Beyonwiz STB for the same purpose on the other telly - Fetch is better).
I can't comment about the Mi Box S as I do not own one.
Get the Chinese MiBox if you don't want to ever have to pay for Netflix/disney plus/HBO ;)
The bluetooth remote & inbuilt apps make the Google TV a reasonable upgrade over the standard Chromecast, which I've been using for years.
Not having to manually cast from my phone to the TV for kids' shows is much easier - assuming the kids don't lose the remote on me!
You can also buy an app to 'reprogram' the face buttons, so the Netflix button has now become our Plex button instead.
Biggest hassle with Chromecast TV dongle is lack of disk space. It only has 8GB of onboard storage, 4.4GB of which are available for app storage. Doesn't take long to run out so is limited with the number of Apps that can be installed especially as Apps Cache fills up in time.
Sure one can add extra by buying USB C powered Hub but one ends up with more wires around the place. Besides that It's a great device and my preferred player.
I sent my Mibox back as the remote failed to connect after a short while.

Firestick TV. It's basically android tv that's been modded. A 4K max could be had for under $60.
The NVIDIA shield is great but not really worth it unless you need a Plex media server or really into gamestreaming
I find Chromecast and firestick make a good combo
