Anyone know if a good deal on the $200 Boost Prepaid Card, please fellow bargain hunters ? Thanks in advance 😊

  • can these be used in 4g modems?

  • +2

Can these be used to recharge for existing boost customers?

    • +2

No/it's complicated. Easier to port out to a non-Telstra carrier (i.e. Optus/Vodafone) pre-paid and port back in.

Appalling customer service if you ever need to contact them

    • To be fair, that's most telco companies for some reason.

  • Anyone else seeing this as $300 when going through checkout now? Don't really want to gamble on punching payment details in to find out it doesn't revert down to $260!

From T&Cs "…ends 11.59pm (AEST) 29 December 2021 or when sold out.", can't see anything to say it's OOS

      Shows $260 on my cart

      • Got there eventually, I'll blame browser. Had to go incognito and then go to the product page via the homepage rather than direct link

  • So with the pathetic 366 day expiry date, this is average $21 a month for 20GB a month…..

No idea how this is considered a deal.

Not a knock on you OP, moreso the ridiculously expensive amount this company charges and then consider this a deal…

Would only be a deal if there was either NO expiry, or at least a much longer one.

    Screw phone companies.

Seems like a good trade-off to me for 12mo at this price point…? Are there cheaper deals to be had?

This was around $0.86 per GB over 12mo period. I couldn't find anything with <$1 per GB with similar data allowance (10-20GB).

I'm trying to find a better offer when my current Boost expires in a week - top contenders were Coles Mobile (Optus) or Vodafone which are currently exactly $1.00 per GB ($119/120GB or $150/150GB).

    • I'm all ears for alternative deals that are SIM-only, cheaper and have comparable carrier coverage i.e. NOT on Telstra wholesale.
