Redeeming Xbox Game Codes from Other Regions

Hi all

I have done this before but seem to be having an issue getting the code redeemed this time.

I have a code for a game from Argentina - I connect to that country using tunnelbears Chrome extension but when I go to redeem via the Xbox website , it still says no go.

Am I missing a step somewhere..? Maybe another VPN? Do I need to change anything else in my settings..? Cheers

  Haven't done it myself, but maybe try incognito mode?

  You might need to add an argentinian address to your microsoft billing details. I think that might be the missing link.

  I'd recommend trying Fembot's answer first, but if you still have no luck, you can change the location on the console itself to Argentina and try redeeming the code via the store on the console. It's been a long time since I've done this, but I did have success on doing that with Brazilian and Russian currency cards.

      Sorry for the delay - yes it did, just needed to use a different VPN!
