Apple MagSafe2: Alternative Power Supply?

The RRP for an Apple 60w MagSafe2 power pack is $120. You need this if you have an old MBP.

Has anyone had any luck using a standard high Watt USB charger with an aftermarket cable? If so, what are you using and where did you you buy it?

The first died (stopped charging) after one month the replacement is still working fine.

I’ve used the $30 ones off ebay.
Just make sure you get the right one.
The magsafe 1 and 2 plugs are wired differently, and might fry the laptop if you use the wrong one. Note some v1 adapters use the same T-style plug as the v2.

I bought a magsafe 2 to female USB-C adapter off ali express for ~$6 and use a 65w dell usb-c charger, works a treat.
