you need larger than 14mm to take an engine apart ….so no the set isn’t designed to for that, but OK for many other tasks from fixing bikes , assemble furniture, and some car work ….if 14mm or less.
not bad for $40 …dewalt is owned by B&D so it’s stanley who also own sidchrome, so it will be from a stanley somewhere in the world.

On reading the specs again, I'm not so sure. It does say "Full Polish Chrome for corrosion resistance", but notably doesn't say what metal the set is made from. Although I've just searched and neither do Sidchrome any more, didn't they previously proclaim that all their tools are made from chrome vanadium steel? Has quality declined, are we now getting chrome-plated steel?
the sidchrome i bought a week ago has chrome vanadium marked on the label ….. also made in taiwan ….. but yeah if it doesn’t have chrome vanadium marked on it somewhere it’s a worry and strange for dewalt …

It's part way down the list, Costco aren't making it easy to get more info. It appears they don't have a product page for this item, searching for it doesn't give any relevant results.
It's a 1/4-inch drive set, so don't expect you can take your car engine apart with it, more for household jobs.
