Hi, purchased one of these TV's when they went on sale on Nov 24th mounted it yesterday only to find it has a couple of dead pixels.

I can't use the stock finder as it is more than 4 weeks. I can return it and get a refund, because the mount is specifically set for this TV, I would rather get a replacement.

Has anyone seen any in store in the Sydney or greater Sydney area?

  A couple of dead pixels are quite normal for LCD Panels at this price point. If you use it as a TV, you may not notice it at all. It will save you a lot of trouble replacing the TV and still has a few dead pixels on the replacement units.

        I can return it for a full refund as well. Will call the warranty place when they are back to see if they have a replacement.

    just curious what do dead pixel looks like?

    also you said may not notice the dead pixel if use as TV. Just curious how would you notice dead pixel then?

      I think dead pixels are black dots. From comfort viewing distance (5 - 8 feet away), I don't think you can notice the black dots if you are watching TV programs. You can examine any screen by displaying a pure white/black picture and examine it very closing.

      Hi, when on a dark or black screen, there are a couple of pixels which stay red and blue instead of the dark screen colour.
      They are small but annoying and noticeable, going to return it to Aldi for a refund.
      It's annoying as my son loves the TV and it has been wall mounted, we wanted to find the same model, so it was at the same height.
