Leaving this research way too late for our road trip tomorrow to Bombala; as I do research on the net, can foodies or perhaps ACT locals chime in on.
What's your recommendation for Thai/Malaysian/Indonesian/Vietnamese/Chinese/Cantonese/Japanese/Korean restaurant to go to in ACT?
Preferably those that open for lunch as we stopover in Canberra & vice versa on our return trip. Thanks!

Chong co is a good Thai
Dickson / CBD dumpling house is a great Chinese / dumpling place
Just go to Dickson shops and wander around until you find something you like that's open. There's like a dozen Asian restaurants and they're all really good. Dickson is near the federal highway if that's where you're travelling.
Ginseng at the Hellenic club at Woden is really nice and classy. Just checked and it is open for lunch on Mondays.
Yumcha CBD in Civic Centre is a good place for lunch
Go to Google maps try search asian restaurant, then check which one is open and give them a call.
Higher chance they say open in Google but closed.
Dickson noodle house do a good Laos version of a curry laksa. It’s ok and many Canberrans dig it but as a true baba nonya, it doesn’t cut the mustard.
