Friends just got this for $2450, the good guys in VIC, Including delivery.
Delivery will be circa Feb next year, but that's an excellent price.
I guess it pays to shop around and ask nicely.

I can confirm it was TGG . I was told not to tell anyone of this price sorry. I read both article on this forum in regards to āI work for TGG/jb hifi ask me anythingā. I made a rapport with this person , bought them small gifts and they looked after me. Helps to be nice and show respect as they are the only ones who can give you a good deal.

Prepare to be disappointed. I contacted them yesterday and was told āwe have had a supply issue with your orderā. The new ETA I was given was towards the end of the month. I got in quite early on the deal too, so Iād be surprised if its different for anyone else.
Oh no! That's terrible service, if we were late in paying we'd get penalised but when they're late in delivering something there are no consequences. Thanks so much for your reply!

@ozborgain: If you check their direct website, it gives estimates on delivery times. It was 25 January the other day. Now it's moved to 29 January.

It sucks, but it was a great price and has bought enough time to see what the C2 will be like.
Iām happy to wait a bit longer and look forward to getting it set up.

Similar story here. I contacted them after the delivery date came and went. Their reply was very similar, and they've given a ETA of late Jan to early Feb.
A bit dodgy of them — their eBay store showed limited stock, giving the impression that they actually had the units secured. But of course, it turns out that it was on back order all along, so it's no surprise that supply is delayed.
Should've spent a bit more money and gone to JB instead, since they apparently had actual stock. Now I feel like a sucker for paying up front for an expensive TV and waiting more than a month for delivery.
So missed the boxing day sales, but picked up the C1 65" today for $3k delivered from TGG delivered (JB/HN wouldn't get close to this price, with HN only pushing the Sony a80j and that LG wss miles apart..). Last one in SA, so rather than wait I bit the bullet.
Can anyone recommend good settings so I don't have to calibrate (or just wait for the TV and see if it's necessary)? Or any other worthwhile tips post opening the box? Thanks OZB!

IMO 65 is tiny for a dedicated media room.
