Any boxing days deals for Roborock S7 or S7 plus please ?
Looking to buy from local retailer and their main website is not reliable in terms of dispatch. Can I price beat at Harvey Norman if there are good deals elsewhere.
Planning to purchase one today.
Also please hep with your 2 cents if auto empty bin is worth the price or its just better to go with the robot only. It’s for use in a 2 bed apartment
Oh, and just in case it isn't clear. The S7 and S7+ aren't the same device (according to their support team). it isn't just a bundle.

What other differences are there?
I understand there are 2 variants of the auto empty dock, 1 that works with bag only and 1 that works with both bag and bagless.
No its the same device, just that when you buy the device w/o the bin you will need to remove an air outlet plug in the bin dock to use with auto empty bin incase you buy later.
Everything else is just the same. Watched from reviews online and had checked with their support staff earlier.
Can you please let us know what difference they informed you of ?

I recently bought the s7 and docking station during black friday sales. It was cheaper to purchase the items separately at the time. (See my post here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/667524)
The docking station is quite exy but saves you having to empty the robot dust bin every couple of days.
I have set up daily scheduled cleaning and can just set and forget. Make sure U remove small items such as cables from the floor as it doesn't detect these.
I hate doing chores, so I guess its the price I have to pay for being lazy :P
Got the S7 from Harvey Norman, price matched (w/ AI ecosystem) for 929$.
Also got 2 yr additional warranty for a discounted 139$.
Found it better to buy from Local store rather than their website. Helpful staff and from past experience with other electronics, it hassle free in case of issues ( just my opinion).
Will see if I really need the auto empty bin as it too expensive vs price of the robot to justify the purchase now.

I was juggling between the Deebot T9 and Roborock S7. Finally decided on S7 but missed any deals. Ebay currently have 10% off plus can get 3% cashback on gift cards. Just a tad under $1000 is the best deal I could find.

Ended up paying $999 from local Godfrey's with price match to Tristar Online.
Not bad ! Mine was 60$ cheaper but given that the other deal expired, this is the next best price.
Eyes out for an auto empty dock if there are any good deals!

They didn't believe the price initially and said that the comparable item was the international model, not AU model.
Fortunately it says 'AU plug included' - not sure if it means an adaptor or indeed is the AUS model, but once they had 3 people including manager reviewed the comparison store details, they matched it.

@podding85: Shame. Did they say why? I initially went to Harvey Norman but they were sold out of the white.
@Porker: That there was no way it could be an Australian model despite me pointing out what the ad said and the fact it had an AU plug.
Then it turned to would only match a bricks and mortar store
@podding85: Maybe try at a different store, but did the one you tried have any in stock?
I ask about stock because my store had to order it in, and that's probably why they could price match.
I've experienced this with other items I've bought, if they're in stock the store is less willing to budge on price because there's holding and storage costs etc. But if they order it in, then it's a sure sale and they just add a little bit on top of their purchase costs. Everybody wins. That's explanation I got when I asked how a particular store (that I bought several times from) could sell me something so cheap when others did not.
@Porker: Hey did have stock but I agree that is a reasonable explanation. The manager was saying they were selling extremely well so I guess from his perspective why pass up the extra $200.
If I have to wait for the order to come in, I may as well order from Tristar?
@podding85: Also, I bought this to save time with cleaning. I just spent 2 hours following it around to see if it did a good job. No time saved.

@podding85: I think it is indeed an international model with an AU plug, as they have a separate page for the Au model for $100 more (not sure what difference there is besides the plugs though). Try HN online chat to price match, as they did it for me on my first go. Yay for $999 roborock s7!

Guys, if you see a deal on the auto empty dock please revert to this post. Haven't felt the need yet, emptying after each run works for me but if there any good deals, will be happy to budge but never at the pricepoint of $699!!
