Historical low as according to camel 3x.

Definitely one of a kind microphone out there with ARGB, built in shock mount & pop filter and have 4 polar patterns for podcasting. Tap to mute feature is great. Havent had another mic so unfortunately cant compare the sound quality but to my untrained ear it felt great. You probably can get a better sound at this price if you find a xlr mic + audio interface at a deal but this does have the RGB appeal.

To anyone that want to pull the trigger but is hesitant since they dont have other hyperx product so cant link the rgb. I use SignalRGB to link it up with other peripherals and it works great.

As a desk mic, this mic doesn't outperform mics like the Razer Seiren X. The extra polar patterns are nice, but the mic quality at this price is still just not good enough.

At just under this price, get a Behringer UMC202HD and the Mackie EM-91c off Amazon. Or spend a little more on the mic (and a cable) and get the Takstar TAK55 during an AliE sale for $120-$130.

You'll need a stand, but you'll also have much better audio quality. If you want to spend $200 on a USB mic, wait for a Shure MV7 sale.

    • You are right haha, this mic is for those that wants aesthetics (like me who likes the RGB) but if one wants best bang for their buck the quadcast s is definitely not it.

    • What about Elgato Wave 3? Was planning to get a mic and not sure what to get

      • It's worse than the MV7 in terms of audio quality for spoken word, and I would say it's a toss-up between it and the Mackie combo, with the two mics being different tonally (the Mackie is more mid-focused, and arguably has better timbre for spoken word, but it is less detailed due to the treble roll off).

I think the TAK55 stands a level above all of these, and it's a hard task to beat it right up until the $500 mark (Shure SM7B, Earthworks ETHOS).

  • Pulled the trigger on this after 40 mins research on YouTube.

    • haha you wont regret it. sure the sound quality aint great compared to professional mics but the rbg is 👌👌👌
