The Maestro coffee is at least 100% arabica. Who knows how old it is though. How much is a kilo of beans at Aldi these days?
About $12 and it usually has a roast date of 2 to 3 weeks old . Smells great opening a new bag .
Anyone have experience with these coffee beans? Can't find any reviews online :/
They used to offer ozbargain special. I like their espresso blend black colour.
Thanks :)
I'm going to guess it's 9-12 month old beans that have been sitting in a warehouse going hot-cold-hot the whole time.
If you're ok making sandwiches with week-old home brand bread, this will likely work for you. There's a reason it's $7.20/kg and freshness and quality isn't it.
Guess? You might be right, but you might be wrong. It looks like it was a limited offer at the bargain price. Who knows apart from the seller???
Mmmm stale coffee when you finally finish it in over a years time
